President’s Day in Cardiff
Date(s) - 29/09/2017
Cardiff City Hall
This meeting will explore how the medical professions and politicians worked together to introduce presumed consent for organ donation in Wales. Key topics include cancer vaccination, intestinal failure and advances in vascular surgery.
We also use the President’s Day to focus on a number of prizes for trainees/students and they are open to submissions on any kind of surgery. They include the MIA prize for non clinical research – suitable for MD/PhD students etc, the Adrian Tanner prize for trainees and the John Dawson prize for students presenting a case which showcases MDT working.
Register now to hear a mix of scientific and clinical presentations which demonstrate the value of working together across specialties, disciplines and with partners at home and abroad. The meeting will finish with a dinner in the Marble Hall where you can enjoy an evening of fabulous Welsh food and music.
