Seventh TUF cycle challenge
We made it! Phew!
We have just returned from our seventh cycle challenge to raise donations for The Urology Foundation (TUF).
The cycle, which took a 450km route from Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam to Angkar Wat in Cambodia, was so far one of the most difficult challenges of the lot! The 33 degree temperatures and 100% humidity made the going tough, but all of the 35 participants made it, and I am so proud of them all.
Over the course of the cycle there were four minor casualties from falls from the bikes – cuts and bruises only – and a spot of food poisoning, but nothing more serious thankfully.
The TUF cycle challenge has included expeditions to Sicily, Malawi, Madagascar, Patagonia, South Africa, India and now South East Asia, which has raised more than £750,000 for the charity.
