Truely an experience not to be missed.
To cycle through a country is really to be immersed in it.
To do a challenge with the most inspiring people around you is wonderful.
All this and a good cause too.
    Costa Rica here we come

The year is an odd number so we must be doing a TUF Cycle Challenge! We have a load of great people signed up to join us again but we always welcome new participants with open arms. A great mix of urologists and supporters, the group always blends well and the ultimate goal is to have fun and enjoy ourselves, while exerting ourselves a little for a good cause! We are expecting the scenery in Costa Rica to be stunning, with exotic flora and fauna, and to explore this on a bike means we will be able to get up close and personal. I do hope you will consider joining us, and raising funds for urology research and training. As Mark says, we will love you.

These trips are an unforgettable experience. The places we visit and the bonds we make are truly special. These challenges are never easy but the feeling of achievement is worth it. Everyone is made to feel welcome and I urge anyone pondering Costa Rica to join us in the knowledge they won’t regret it.

I completely agree with the comments of my cycling buddies.
I was participant in all the seven magical events. Apart from
Seeing the beautiful nature from close proximity one can experience different cultures and mix with the locals with a joy un-describable.
It is once in life time experience to have and enjoy again and again watching those moments caught on videos and complied by Roger and Jane.
One more important aspect is, it is for all comers with different
Abilities. Everyone takes care of every other participant.
It’s like a big (TUF-Family) Family cycling Event.

As the token Yank who has participated in many of these rides, I can offer the following comments from my early morning tweet habit (modeled after you know who)

This is a PHENOMENAL deal, and I know as I am the best dealmaker of all time.

Even my friend Boris Johnson could do it-others in the group help and encourage and could get help get him up the hills.

There are some very good people who participate. Leave your London mayor at home. Seems like a good guy to me but I have heard him called a “stone cold loser” and he is too short anyway.

Theresa May has nothing else to do so she may sign up. That is encouragement to train some so that you wouldn’t get stuck having to cycle beside her and listen to her for 6 days.

There is no way you Brits will have figured out Brexit by November so you might as well get out of there and have a great time in a beautiful country with some really fun people.

I still have fond memories of the first event in Sicily and the friends made. I guess only Roger imagined what it might lead to. William Wordsworth said the best way to appreciate the countryside was horse and carriage but then came the bike. And what an experience it has been. Join Costa Rica and take forward the story.

So sorry to miss it, there was a terrific team spirit on the last one I did, and it was terrific fun, unfortunately knee cartilage is knackered and not up to the racing!!!!!
If you have not done one, go for it, the memories will last forever!!!!

These trips are tremendous on many many levels . Lots of money raised; great fellowship; a real sense of achievement ; and an opportunity to see and experience exotic places . They are so well organised that all you have to do is get on your bike and pedal , whether you are a beginner or accomplished cyclist. I would thoroughly recommend it .

I had the great pleasure of joining the TUF team for the charity cycle challenge in Rajasthan. I have signed up for Costa Rica and look forward to taking on the challenge that will again open my eyes to the incredibly good work of The Urology Foundation. It will be a humbling experience that will keep delivering through all areas of my life. The TUF team spirit is exceptional and Costa Rica will be very beautiful. If you are considering joining the TUF Costa Rica Cycle Challenge please do as it will provide so much to you, TUF and many others.
